Terms & Conditions of Sale

• The price payable is the price shown at the time you place your order. Prices include VAT unless stated otherwise.
• If a product is listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical or supplier error, we may cancel the order, even after confirmation. If you have already paid, we will refund you in full.
• We accept most major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) and PayPal. Please provide billing details that match those held by your card issuer. Mismatched details may delay your order.
• Ownership of the goods passes to you once we have received payment in full. We will issue a VAT invoice.

All products are subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time. If we are unable to supply goods you have ordered, we will let you know and refund any sum you have paid for them. We will not be liable for any other loss arising from our inability to supply.

• Lead times shown on the website or quoted by our team are estimates provided by us or our suppliers. On occasion, for reasons beyond our control, a lead time may be extended; we will not be liable for any costs arising from such a delay.
• Cast iron radiators are delivered by specialist palletised courier. All palletised deliveries are kerbside only and the driver cannot carry goods into your property, so please arrange suitable help for delivery day, as cast iron radiators are heavy.
• Deliveries are made Monday to Friday (excluding bank holidays). Goods are delivered only to the address on the order and will not be left without a signature.
• If no one is available to receive a pre-arranged delivery, a re-delivery charge will apply.
• Free UK mainland delivery applies to orders over £1,000. Mainland UK excludes Northern Ireland, the Channel Islands, the Isle of Man, the Isle of Wight and certain Scottish Highlands and Islands. Please contact us before ordering if you are in one of these areas, as additional charges apply. We also ship internationally on request.

• Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery.
• Please check your delivery before signing. Confirm the correct number of packages, and if there is visible damage, sign for the goods as damaged rather than unchecked, or refuse the delivery if the goods are clearly damaged.
• Any visible transit damage, shortages or incorrect items must be reported to us, with photographs, within 48 hours of delivery, and the original packaging retained. This short window applies to visible transit issues only and does not affect your statutory rights in respect of faulty goods (see clause 07).
• We cannot accept the return of any product on the grounds of visible damage once it has been installed. Please do not install your radiator, or book a plumber or installer, until you have checked that the goods are correct and undamaged.

48-hour grace period. For all cast iron and Verona column radiators you have a 48-hour grace period from the time you place your order, during which you may cancel or amend your order free of charge. After 48 hours, made-to-order items move into production and the returns terms in clause 06 apply. To cancel, notify us in writing (email is fine). A phone call alone is not sufficient.

Statutory cancellation (non-bespoke goods). For stock items that have not been made or personalised to your specification, you have the right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 within 14 days of receiving the goods.

Made-to-order & bespoke goods. Cast iron radiators, bespoke-size or special-finish Verona column radiators, and colour-matched accessories are made to your specification. Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, such goods are exempt from the statutory cooling-off right and, once they have entered production, cannot be cancelled, except as set out in our returns terms below.

Our full returns terms, including all fees, are set out on our Returns page. In summary:

• Cast iron radiators are made to order. They may be returned, but the original paint finish is non-refundable, a 25% restocking fee applies to the base price of the radiator, and a collection fee of £90 (ex. VAT) per pallet applies. Polished radiators are strictly non-refundable due to their intensive finishing process.
• Stock column radiators and standard accessories may be returned for a full refund if you notify us within 14 days of receipt; after 14 days a 25% restocking fee applies. Goods must be returned in their original, unused condition with all packaging and accessories intact.
• Bespoke / made-to-order column radiators and colour-matched valves, sleeves and wall ties are non-refundable (subject only to the 48-hour grace period).
• Written return authorisation from us is required before returning any item; we will confirm the correct return address. If you arrange your own return rather than using our collection service, the goods remain your responsibility, including adequate transit insurance, until received by us. Items received incomplete, damaged or in unsellable condition will not be refunded.

• We are under a legal duty to supply goods that are of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. Your statutory remedies under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, including the 30-day right to reject faulty goods for a refund, are unaffected by these terms.
• We guarantee our cast iron radiators for 10 years against manufacturing defects. If a radiator is found to be genuinely faulty (not cosmetic) within the guarantee period, and has been correctly installed and maintained in line with our guidance, we will arrange a replacement or, for discontinued models, a like-for-like replacement of the same value. The guarantee does not cover fair wear and tear, damage caused by incorrect installation, or misuse.
• Please report a fault as soon as possible with photographs by email to sales@castironradiatorcompany.co.uk. For replacements, a deposit may be required and refunded once the returned item is confirmed faulty by our supplier.
• We will cover postage for delivery and collection of warranty replacements to UK mainland addresses. We will not be liable for installation costs, plumber or electrician fees, or any consequential loss arising from a faulty item.
• All electric radiators must be installed by a qualified electrician; failure to do so may invalidate your guarantee. No refund will be considered on an item that has been installed unless it is proven to be faulty.

Images and colour swatches shown on our website and digital platforms are for illustration only and may not exactly reproduce the finish of the product, owing to screen settings and lighting. Because our products are bespoke, we strongly recommend ordering colour samples or visiting our showroom before confirming your finish. All dimensions are approximate; please confirm exact technical data with us before installation.

We do not exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that, and to your statutory rights, we will not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue, business or goodwill, arising from the use of this website or the supply of goods.

• We may update these terms from time to time; the version in force is the one published on this website at the date of your order.
• A failure to enforce any term does not waive our right to enforce it later.
• These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
